Research interests
Our research interests center on the automation of the construction processes. We aim to find smart, intelligent ways of collecting on-site data as well as extracting meaningful information from the data, which mainly involve in-depth knowledge of computer vision and machine learning. Information visualization is another research topic we are working on through AR technologies.
-
Sensing and analysis of infrastructure visual and spatial data
-
Applications of computer vision technologies in construction
-
UAV-based on-site monitoring
-
AR (Augmented Reality) for construction information visualization
-
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
-
Automated assessment of infrastructure conditions
